grow veg 2 An escalating trend in homegrown veg has been picked up on by the Royal Horticultural Society, the RHS says that most gardens are generally too small to grow everything that a household requires, and that it makes sense to grow simply your favourite vegetables rather than a mass stock.
grow veg 1 For example, they suggest that potatoes, onions and carrots are best left to the supermarkets because of reasonable economy and the extra room they need to grow, and instead recommend home grown spring onions and baby carrots with their tops on for delicious flavour and freshness.
