Individually they are Brony, Neil, Kev and Mark. Four seasoned, dynamic musicians hailing from the Lancashire area. Together they are The Hype, a rock band that dares take the pub-rock-covers format to a new level. Fine words are all very well but no substitute for seeing the band in action, so check the gig listings for a gig near you.

The Hype is a four piece rock band recently formed from members of the Orange Project and Heroes. Bands which were high on technical ability but more importantly knew that having a passion and enjoyment of playing great songs, always came across to an audience and was central to what the bands were all about.

The Hype are heavily influenced by classic rock bands such as Rush, Zeppelin, Pearl Jam and Aerosmith with more contemporary artists such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Muse and Queens of the Stone Age.
